MAKEUP HAUL!!!
Hi Everyone! So I just purchased a few makeup products. I have never been an eyeshadow type of girl. I do not know why, it's just how I was made, although I have always been a HUGE fan of eyeliners.
There are quite a few products in this picture. Most of these products were purchased at Sephora with the exception of the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in the shade Crush, which I purchased from a Duane Reade. Crush gives off this rich hot pink/purple color. This is the first time I have purchased a Revlon Balm Stain. I was surprised at how moisturizing it was, plus I was the one who controlled the depth of color. The more I put on my lips the richer the color.
I purchased the Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage airbrush foundation. I've been hearing a lot about this foundation and I have heard nothing but good things about it. I have used Tarte blush in the past which was wonderful, so I knew this foundation would not disappoint. I am pleased to say that this product does provide full coverage and lasts all day. It honestly feels like I have no foundation on. It's very light, so it does not feel like my face is melting by the end of the day.
I also purchased quite a few Clinique chubby sticks. Now, I know I mentioned that I am not really into eyeshadows, and that was because I always made a mess of them and was not good at blending. These chubby sticks have changed me. I bought the shades Curvaceous Coal, which is like a deep purple, and Lavish Lilac, which is a light purple. Both can be applied straight from the stick, no brush needed. I then use my fingers to blend here and there. It's so easy. Their so creamy and moisturizing. I love them! The third chubby stick is actually a lip balm in the shade Whole Lotta Honey. I truly love that name. If your looking for a lip balm that gives a bit more color than a nude would then this is the shade for you. It's super moisturizing which is great for these summer months. I was also looking for a brightening eye liner that I could use to line my lower lash line with. I found one with urban decay. It is the urban decay glide on eye pencil. This liner is double ended in the shades Venus and Crave. Venus is the lighter shade. I have been using it every morning, and it gives me that brightening effect I was hoping for. This liner is super creamy and goes on so smooth and easily.
The last thing I purchased was the urban decay pencil sharpener. I bought the Sephora sharpener about a year ago and it just was not working out for my urban decay 24/7 eye pencils that I adore. Maybe it's because they are really creamy and soft. This sharpener works great with all eye pencils, but especially with the urban decay eye pencils.
The final item I would like to mention is the Elizabeth and James Nirvana for Her in the Black scent. I was able to get the small rollerball version of this bestselling perfume with my Sephora rewards points. When I decided to get this with the points the cashier told me that this scent was amazing and told me to try it in the White scent. She even told me that for the best results wear them both together. Before I left the store I was able to get a sample of the White scent. The Black scent gives off this strong Vanilla scent while the White gives off a light floral scent. When worn together it's literally the best perfume scent. This has become my summer smell!
I will be posting a video about these finds sometime this week. Make sure to check out my other videos on my channel youtube.com/amandaralphie.
Please don't forget to comment and tell me what you guys think!
